This documentary had no script plan or familiar schedule, so I had to redefine what quality meant. My focus shifted from controlling outcomes to treating uncertainty as an alternative system of filmmaking. That shift required full trust in the chosen subject and a commitment to process stability instead of predictability. The unknown became a professional skill, where uncertainty is not a management failure but the conditions, and the form, of a different approach to cinema.
